When we're not assisting families with lifestyles and language at their homes, we are busy creating events for families from different cultures to make friends.
Last Sunday we had a Games and Teamwork Session based on trust - every game had a trust element in which everyone had to rely on each other to accomplish the goals.
Through using trust and goal-specific communication, cultural barriers and language issues were overcome, and everyone displayed positive body language of smiling, high-fives, thumbs-up, and hugs. It was a perfect example of making friends across cultures by playing games and sharing goals.
We are very proud and lucky to have such kind and loving families in Nagoya.
